Getting started as an Archiver is simple. Once you join, you’ll unlock the ability
to upload your videos directly into the DMV Archive.
- Become an Archiver — Subscribe to the DMV Archiver Pass to unlock upload access.
- Log in to your account — Your subscription automatically connects to your profile.
- Upload your videos — Use the “Compose” button to submit your videos into the archive across 20+ categories.
- Preserve your legacy — Every upload becomes part of the permanent, community‑driven record of the DMV.
How to Sign Up and Archive Your Videos
Follow these steps to create your account, activate your Archiver Pass, and start
uploading your videos into the DMV Archive.
- Sign up for an account — Create your free I’M SO DMV account so your Archiver Pass can be linked to your profile.
- Go to the DMV Archiver Pass page — Visit the DMV Archiver Pass page once your account is created.
- Click the red button — Select the red “Become an Archiver — $6.99/mo” button to open the secure Stripe checkout.
- Complete your payment — Enter your payment details and confirm your subscription.
- Log back in — After checkout, return to I’M SO DMV and log in so your Archiver status activates.
- Populate your profile — Add your display name, profile photo, and any creator details you want connected to your uploads.
- Access the uploader — Once your Archiver Pass is active, use the “Compose” button to start a new video post.
- Archive your video — Upload your video, choose a thumbnail to upload, choose the correct DMV category, add a title and description, and submit. Your video is now part of the DMV Archive.
